National/International Competition: Qualified for five events at the 2010 U.S. Junior Nationals in Irvine, Calif.,…Placed 15^th in the 500 free at the 2009 Short Course U.S. Junior Nationals.

At Florida

2012-13: Notched season-best times with a sixth place finish in the 200 back in a time of 1:50.02 and took seventh in the 100 back in 50.72 in the win over Auburn…Won the 200 back (1:50.09) and finished third in the 100 back (51.40) against Florida Atlantic…Took seventh in the 200 back (1:46.62), 22^nd in the 100 back (50.09), 24^th in the 200 IM (1:51.08) and 28^th in the 400 IM (4:00.83) at the Ohio State Invitational…Recorded a sixth place finish in the 100 back with a time of 52.76 and then added a seventh place finish in the 200 back with a time 1:53.91 against in-state rival Florida State…Was third in the 200 back (1:50.54) and fourth in the 100 back (51.30) in the win over Texas A&M…Finished fifth in the 100 back (52.09) and sixth in the 200 back (1:52.73) at South Carolina…Took sixth in the 100 back (51.02) and eighth in the 500 free (4:38.21) against Georgia…Grabbed a fourth place finish in the 200 back with a time of 1:50.67 at the All-Florida Invitational.

2011-12: Swam the fastest 200 back by any UF freshman with a 1:45.50 race at the 2012 Bulldog Invitational, where he also added career-low swims in three other events including the 100 back (49.30), 200 fly (1:50.98) and 400 IM (3:55.07)…Collected a pair of seventh-place finishes against Auburn in both the 100m back (1:01.01) and 400m free (4:15.46) to help lift the Gators over the Tigers…Against FAU claimed the runner-up spot in the 200 back (1:52.68), and took fourth in the 200 fly (1:56.63)…Took sixth in the 500 free in a career-low 4:39.31 in the win over rival FSU…Made his SEC debut against LSU with personal-best swims in the 100 and 200 free with times of 47.93 and 1:42.88, respectively…Took seventh in the 100 back (1:46.30) at the All-Florida invitational in his first meet as a collegiate swimmer.

Prior to Florida: Studied at Seminole High School…Trained with West Florida Lightning Aquatics under head coach Cashel Mack…A four-time NISCA High School All-American… Captured a silver medal in the 200 IM and a bronze medal in the 500 free at the 2009 state championships as a junior…Owns the Seminole High record in the 200 IM and 500 free…Florida swimming age group record holder in the 200 and 400-meter free…Two-time team MVP (2009 & 2010) for Seminole High…Named MVP of his club team…Qualified for the 1A state meet as an eighth grader.
