2012-13: At the 2013 NCAA Championships, had a 17th place finish in the 400 IM (3:44.04), was 36th in the 1,650 free (15:28.68) and 51st in the 500 free (4:26.51)…Recorded several personal-best times and top-eight finishes after a fourth place finish in the 400 IM (3:44.04), touched the wall in 14:55.53 for a fifth place finish in the 1,650 free and was seventh in the 500 free with a time of 4:18.66 at the 2013 SEC Championships…Won the 200 IM recording a personal-best time of 1:47.93 against Tennessee…Finished second in the 1,000 free stopping the clock at 9:03.79 and took fourth in the 200 back (1:48.55) in the win at Auburn…Notched a win in the 100 back (50.06), was second in the 200 breast (2:07.69) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:02.68) against Florida Atlantic…Swam three top-10 finishes at the Ohio State Invitational with a second place finish in the 1,650 free (15:03.47), sixth in the 400 IM (3:47.90) and eighth in the 200 IM (1:48.09)…Added a 19th place finish in the 200 back (1:48.82)…Touched the wall third in the 100 back with a time of 51.44 and was sixth in the 200 back in 1:52.49 against Florida State…Collected a pair of victories against Texas A&M with wins in the 1,000 free (9:04.00) and the 400 IM (3:53.44)…Was second in the 1,000 free clocking in with a time of 9:13.96 at South Carolina…Finished second in the 200 back with a time of 1:48.15 and fifth in the 200 free in 1:40.74 against Georgia…Won the 200 back in a time of 1:47.42, finished second in the 200 free after touching the wall in 1:40.22 and took fourth in the 500 free with a time of 4:30.42 at the All-Florida Invitational.
2011-12: Named to the SEC All-Freshman team after appearing in the 500 free finals, taking home an eighth-place finish with a 4:21.82 swim, also added a 3:50.71 swim in the 400 IM for tenth and a 15:33.85 swim in the 1,650 free for 12th at the conference championships…Made the first NCAA Championship appearance as a freshman with a 4:29.71 swim in the 500 free, 3:51.54 swim in the 400 IM and 15:28.76 swim in the 1,650 free…Swam two career-low races at the 2012 Bulldog Invitational in both the 200 and 400 IM, touching in 1:48.60 and 3:47.41, respectively…Finished second in the 200 IM 1:53.11 and fifth in the 200 free (1:41.09) against Tennessee…Named the SEC Male Freshman of the week for his swims against Auburn where he pushed the Gators past the Tigers twice when they were down, first when he claimed the 800m free in 8:22.22 and then again when he won the 400m free (4:03.68) with just four races remaining to give his team a two-point advantage heading into the tale end of the meet and grab the win…Won the 200 breast in a personal-best 2:06.49 against FAU…At the Georgia Tech Invitational, captured three top-10 finishes, clocking in 15:26.41 for second in the 1,650 free, 4:30.64 for sixth in the 500 free and 3:57.78 for ninth in the 400 IM…Against Georgia, finished five-six in the 800m (8:37.18) and 400m free (4:13.47), respectively…Claimed the 200 IM title in 1:52.17 in the SEC opener against LSU…Made his Orange and Blue debut at the All-Florida Invitational winning his first collegiate race, the 500 free, in 4:24.43, and added a third-place finish in the 1,650 free with a 15:39.64 swim.
