Took 54th in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:22.00), 61st in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:05.82) and 64th in the 200-meter IM (2:07.02) at the 2010 Long Course U.S. Nationals…Competed at the 2009 U.S. Open in Federal Way, Washington, in August 2009…Finished 17th overall in the field in the 200-yard breast with a time of 2:17.46, took 36th in the 200 IM (2:06.33) and 46th in the 100-meter breast (1:04.79).
2009-10: Placed 10th in the 200 breast (1:58.29) at the 2010 SEC Championships...Finished third in the 200 medley relay (1:35.54) and second in the 100 breast (58.67) against FAU...Took third in the 200 medley relay (1:33.47) vs. LSU...Part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:18.76) squad against Indian River state College...Joined teammates to finish third in the 400 medley relay vs. Georgia (3:24.06)…Won the 200 breast (2:08.13) against Georgia Tech, while taking third as part of the 200 medley relay squad (1:32.99).
2008-09: Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll team…A member of UF’s SEC team, helping the Gators to a second-place finish at the 2009 SEC meet…Was the top freshman finisher in the 200-yard breast at the 2009 SEC meet, picking up a Freshman All-SEC honor for his sixth-place finish (1:59.37)…Additionally placed 18th in the 100-yard breast (55.35), a season-best mark, and 21st in the 400 IM (3:57.34) at SECs…Shaved even more time off his top 200 breast mark at the 2009 Florida Swimming Senior Championships in Orlando, where he clocked a 1:59.08…Swam a total of 11 dual meets for UF his freshman season, excelling in the breaststroke and IM events…Best meet of the season came at the 2009 Princeton Big Al Invitational, where he finished third in both the 200-yard IM (1:48.97) and 400-yard IM (3:53.64) with season-best marks in each…Held the second-fastest 100-yard breast and third-fastest 200 breast for the Gators during the 2008-09 run.
Four-time State Champion … Three-time Fort Meyers News Press Swimmer of the Year.
