National/International Competition Competed in four events at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia…Competed at the 2005 FINA World Swimming Championships…Represented Barbados at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece…Won his opening heat in the 200-meter breast in a time of 2:18.64…Also competed in the 200 IM (2:03.29), 400 IM (4:24.70 and 100 breast (1:04.71.

At Florida:

2005-06: Became the fifth Gator to earn SEC Freshman of the Year honors…Performed admirably at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, earning six All-American honors less than 48 hours after returning from the Commonwealth Games in Australia…Individually placed fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 3:45.67, sixth in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 1:45.16 and 16th in the 200 breast (1:59.28)…Anchored the 800 FR team to a fourth-place finish with a time of 6:21.69…Also helped the 200 FR (1:10.50) team to 10th-place and swam the second leg on in 400 MR (3:09.95) to finish seventh... Had a strong performance at his first SEC Championships (2/18/06)…Finished second in the 200 breast with a career-best time of 1:57.14…Captured second place in the 400 IM with a career-best time of 3:45.63…Third in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 1:45.36…Helped the 200 FR team to a third place finish by swimming the final leg (1:19.24)…Part of the winning 200 MR team (1:32.58) against Indian River C.C. (2/04/06)…Swam a career-best time of 20.84 in the 50 free to finish first…Had a career-best time of 4:36.91 in the 500 free…Won the 200 IM (1:49.41) against Tennessee (1/28/06)…Part of the winning 400 MR team (3:16.35) and Exhibitioned the 200 breast (2:03.69) against the Volunteers…Swam a career-best time of 55.86 to finish second in the 100 breast against Auburn (1/22/06)…Second in the 200 breast (1:59.15) and third in the 400 IM (3:53.24) against the Tigers…Clocked a career-best time of 50.32 to win the 100 back against Alabama (1/21/06)…Swam the second legs on the winning 400 MR (1:29.63) and 200 FR (1:21.36) teams…Won the 400 IM (3:51.26) and 200 fly (1:49.22) at the Dallas Morning News Classic (1/14/06)…Finished fifth in the 100 breast (56.63) and 13th in the 200 breast (1:59.52)...Swam the third leg of the winning 200 FR team (1:20.93)…Second in the 100 back (50.56) against LSU (1/12/06)…Exhibitioned the 100 fly (50.17) against the Tigers…Won the 100 breast (57.41) and 200 breast (2:02.87) against Penn State… Captured first in the 400 IM (1:48.14) against Florida State (11/22/05)…Fourth in the 200 back (1:49.31) against the Seminoles…Won the 400 IM with a NCAA provisional time (3:52.21) at the Purdue Invitational (11/20/05)…Second in the 100 breast (56.69) and third in the 200 IM (1:48.62)…Also participated in the 400 MR (3:16.49) and 200 MR (1:30.20)…Swam the second leg on the winning 200 MR team (1:31.96) against Florida Atlantic (11/11/05)…Fourth in the 200 free (1:44.03)…First in the 200 IM (1:49.46) and 200 breast (2:01.68) against Georgia (10/27/05)… Earned a first place finish in the 400 IM (3:54.38) against Texas and California (10/22/05)…Second in the 200 IM (1:49.85) and fourth in the 200 breast (2:02.21)…Also swam in the 200 FR (1:25.95), 400 FR (3:01.55) and 800 FR (6:43.20)…Won the 100 breast (57.08) and 200 breast (1:50.33) against South Carolina (10/15/05)…Exhibitioned the 400 IM (3:55.17) against the Gamecocks…Captured his first career win in the 200 IM (1:50.35) against Virginia (10/14/05).

High School Won eight titles at the FHSAA Championships…Set the national high school record in the 200 IM (1:46.70)…Holds the Florida high school record in the 100 breast (54.72).

Club Competed for the Pine Crest Swim Club…Coached by Jay Fitzgerald.
