National/International Competition: Swam in five events at the 2004 U.S. Spring Nationals…Took 18th in the 800-meter free (8:24.38), 25th in the 1,500 free (16:04.28), 44th in the 400 free (4:06.25), 54th in the 200 fly (2:09.46) and was 18th as a member of the 800 FR team (8:04.09)…Swam at the 2003 German Long Course Nationals…Fourth in the 800 free, eighth in the 1,500 free and 10th in the 400 free…In 2002 at German Short Course Nationals, placed sixth in 800-meter free and eighth in 1,500 free…At 2002 German Long Course Nationals, placed fifth in 800 free, seventh in the 1,500 free and 11th in the 400 free…Also swam at 2001 German Junior Championships…Took first in the 400 free, third in the 200 fly and fourth in 1,500 free…Was a member of the Junior National Team in 1998-99 while swimming under Gerhard Hetz…Recorded six top-10 finishes at the German Junior Nationals from 1998-2001.

2004-05:
SEC Academic Honor Roll selection…Took second in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:49.15) while swimming exhibition in the 500 freestyle (4:39.25) and 200 FR (1:26.89) vs. Indian River (2/5/05)…Competed in an exhibition race of the 500 freestyle (4:38.07) against Tennessee (1/29/05)…Exhibitioned the 1,000 freestyle (9:33.00) and 400 FR (3:09.98) versus Virginia (1/28/05)…Raced to a 15th-place finish in the 500 freestyle (4:44.78) and 19th-place in the 200 freestyle (1:47.36) at the Georgia Tech Invitational…Placed sixth as a member of the 200 MR (1:37.99) vs. Minnesota (10/29/04)…Swam exhibition in two races at Florida Atlantic (10/8/04)…Turned in a time of 51.33 in the 100 freestyle and 9:39.01 in the 1,000 freestyle.


2003-04:
Earned first career win at TCU (1/17/04) by swimming 9:29.89 in the 1,000 free…Also took third in the 500 free (4:41.16)…Third in the 1,000 free (9:24.57) at Texas A&M (1/15/04)…Placed 19th in the 1,500-meter free (16:12.57) at the 2003 U.S. Open…Also competed in prelims in the 400-meter free (4:08.27) and 200-meter fly (2:11.45)…Swam 9:33.65 in the 1,000 free (fifth) and 4:43.90 in 500 free (sixth) vs. Florida State (11/11/03)…Fifth in the the 1,650 free (15:56.39) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:12.49) at the Florida Invitational (10/18/03).


2002-03:
Placed second in the 500 free (4:38.45) and fourth in the 200 fly (1:53.81) vs. Florida Atlantic (2/8/03)…Had two fifth-place finishes at Alabama (1/25/03) in the 1,000 free (9:32.40) and as the lead-off swimmer of the 200 FR team (1:29.78)…Also swam exhibition in the 200 fly vs. Alabama…Clocked in third in the 500 free (4:39.02) at Auburn (1/24/03)…Registered a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 free (9:36.62) and was fifth in the 500 free (4:40.66) at SMU (1/16/03).
