2004-05: Member of the 800 FR (6:16.25) that broke the U.S. Open, NCAA, SEC and UF records…Helped the 800 FR win UF's first relay national championship since 1991 with a time of 6:16:53, the second-fastest in NCAA history…Placed eighth in the 400 IM (3:51.76), 13th in the 500 free (4:19.53) and 14th in the 200 back (1:44.23) at the NCAA Championships…Earned four All-American honors…Posted a fourth-place performance in the 200 IM (1:46.57), fourth in the 400 IM (3:46.39) and fifth in the 1,650 free (15:09.66) at the 2005 SEC Championships…Took second in the 200 fly (1:50.45) vs. Indian River C.C. High School: Was a two-time Indiana state champion in 2002...Finished first in the 200 free in a time of 1:37.96, as well as the 500 free (4:25.73)...First-place time in the 500 free set an Indiana state record...Helped to lead North Central High School to a third-place finish at states in 2002 and a runner-up finish in 2001...Named the Most Outstanding Athlete on his team from 1999-02...An academic all-conference pick from 1998-02...Set school records in the 200 MR, 200 free, 500 free, 200 FR and 100 back...Set five county records: 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 200 FR and the 400 FR...Herman F.
