National/ International Competition: Participated in 1998 Brazilian Nationals...finished 12th in 200 free event with time of 1:51.75...touched the wall in 51.49, good for 30th in 100 freestyle event...finished 35th in 100 fly with time of 57.64.

2001-2002: Swam the 50-yard free, 100-yard free and 200-yard free at Southern States...Placed third in both the 100-yard free (47.03) and the 200-yard free (1:41.60) vs. Florida Atlantic...Touched the wall in 47.23 in the 100-yard free vs. Alabama...Clocked in at 46.60 in the 100-yard free and 1:41.04 in the 200-yard free against Auburn...Finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle against Penn State...placed 16th as the anchor leg in the 400-meter free relay at the US Open...placed third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.18) and also clocked in at 3:07.01 in the 400-yard freestyle relay...finished sixth in the 100-yard freestyle and second as part of the 400-yard medley relay at South Carolina...recorded a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard free (47.45), sixth place in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.80) third as part of the 400-yard free relay and fourth as a member of the 200-yard free relay at Clemson...placed fifth in the 100-meter freestyle, seventh in the 200-meter freestyle and fourth as a member of the 400-meter free relay at Michigan...placed third in the 200-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle against Kentucky...was anchor leg for the fifth-place 400-yard medley relay team against Georgia

2000-2001: Came in fourth in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.90) and the 400-yard free relay (3:04.29) in a dual meet against Tennessee...won the 100-yard freestyle at Miami...placed fourth in the 200-yard free at Florida Atlantic/Indian River tri-meet...placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle at Florida State, touching the wall in 4:52.13...finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle against Michigan with a time of 1:42.60...part of 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished first at Alabama with a team total of 3:09.05...came in fifth in the 200-yard free (1:45.02) and seventh in the 100-yard free (48.74) at the Alabama meet.

1999-2000: Established personal-best time and fifth best Florida time of the season in the 200y Free (1:39.51) at the James E. Martin Invitational at Auburn...also set career mark in 50y Free (21.03) and ninth best time on team at Bulldog Invitational...posted team's eighth best time of the season (45.76) in the 100y Free at the Bulldog Invitational.

High School: 1999 graduate of the Bolles School...helped squad win "Mythical National Championship" in 1998...placed second in 100 free with time of 45.809 in 1998 state meet...at same event, placed fourth with time of 1:41.02.

Club: Swims for Westport YMCA... coached by Ellen Johnston.

Personal: Born Ricardo Bruno Molari on March 7, 1980 in Sao Paulo, Brazil...son of Jose Mario Brito Molari and Maria Cristina Bruno...enjoys surfing, and playing basketball and soccer...pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
