1999-2000: At NCAA Championships, finished fifth in the 400m IM with time of 4:11.89, earning first team All-America honors...earned honorable mention All-America honors as a member of the 800m freestyle relay team that placed 12th with a time of 7:17.33...placed 26th in 1,500-meter free, clocking 15:24.10... at SEC Championships, took first place in 400-yard IM with time of 3:45.00, automatically qualifying for NCAA Championships...placed sixth in 1650-yard free, with time of 15:20.18...placed seventh in 500-yard free, touching the wall in 4:23.90...named to SEC Academic Honor Roll...GTE Academic All-America nominee.
1998-99: Received two All-American honorable mention honors for the Gators at NCAAs...won the consolation final of the 400 IM, clocking a season-best time of 3:48.26 to place ninth...also finished 15th on the Gators 800 free relay foursome (6:34.34)...in other individual competition at NCAAs, touched 23rd in the 1650 free (15:29.15) and 35th in the 500 free (4:27.01)...at the SEC Championships, finished third in the 400 IM, clocking an automatic time of 3:49.10...took eighth place in the 500 free in provisional time of 4:26.79...finished ninth in the 200 fly in a consideration time of 1:48.62...at the Speedo Cup Invitational in December, swam a NCAA automatic time of 3:48.43 (fifth fastest in nation entering NCAAs) to win 400 IM on Dec. 4...clocked personal bests in the 500- (4:26.31) and 1650 free (15:21.09) also at the Speedo Cup to place runner-up in both events.
High School: 1998 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School...earned All-American accolades in both the 500-yard free and 200 IM during high school career...two-time Florida High School State 4A champion in the 500 free, winning as a senior in a school-record and personal-best time of 4:27.10 which ranked second-fastest in the nation among independent schools for 1997...touched in third at the state meet last year in the 200 IM (1:51.99), also breaking a Cardinal Mooney mark...finished high school career with five school records and was a three-time selection as most valuable swimmer... high school coach was Deb Walker at Cardinal Mooney...as club team member of Swim Florida, swam under current assistant coach and Gator Great Anthony Nesty.
