1999-2000: Earned 2000 GTE Academic All-American University Division Fall/Winter At-Large First Team selection...at NCAA Championships, just missed the cut in the 200m Fly, tying for 17th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:58.95, just .24 seconds from an Honorable Mention All-All America placement...placed 21st in 400m IM with time of 4:19.26...at SEC Championships, placed eighth in 400-yard IM Championships with time of 3:55.45 after finishing fourth in the prelims with time of 3:50.04...placed sixth in 200 butterlfy finals with time of 1:46.16...finished 15th in 500 free consolation finals with time of 4:29.89...Selected to SEC Academic Honor Roll...named to SEC Academic Honor Roll.
1998-99: Earned 1999 GTE Academic All-American University Division Fall/Winter At-Large Second Team selection...at the NCAA Championships, earned Honorable Mention All-American honors as member of Gators' 400 Medley Relay foursome which placed 16th...individually at the national meet, finished 31st in the 200 fly (1:49.50), and 35th in the 400 IM (3:58.43)...at the SEC Championships, was a conference finalist in the 200 fly, taking sixth place...finished 12th in the 400 IM in personal-best time of 3:54.37...selected to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...at the Auburn Invitational, clocked career best 200 fly time in a time trial (1:46.29)...Tallied six wins in the 200 fly...improved personal times in the 200 fly by over two seconds from freshman season...trimmed over three seconds off 400 IM time from freshman season...felt he made strides of improvement in summer of '98 between freshman and sophomore year since he had recovered from a knee injury.
1997-98: At the SEC Championships, lowered two then- personal-best marks, placing eighth in the 200 fly (1:49.68 -- 1:48.31 in prelims) and 12th in the 400 individual medley (3:57.69)...also finished 31st in the 200 IM (1:55.84).
High School: 1997 graduate of Leon High School...All-American in the 200-yard individual medley...competed at Florida High School State Championships all four years...state champion at the 1996 state meet in the 200 IM in a then-personal best 1:52.34 and runner-up in the 500 free, while also swimming on the winning 200 medley relay and second-place 200 free relay at the '96 state meet...team captain and led Leon H.S. to a third-place team finish in the state during 1996...took second in the 200 free and third in the 500 free at the 1994 state meet...was high school record holder in the 200 IM, 100 back, 200 free relay and 200 medley relay...swam at Leon under Shayne Isaac and Area Tallahassee (ATAC) under Andy Robins.
