National/International Competition:
Placed in the top 10 at 1993 Junior Nationals in the 100- and 200-breast and 200 IM...swam in the 94 U.S. Open, finishing in the top-20 in both the 100- and 200-breast.
NCAA Championships:
1997 - Swam breaststroke leg on the ninth-place 400 medley relay and 12th-place 200 medley relay to earn two All-America honorable mention accolades.
SEC Championships:
1998 - Placed 10th in the 200 breast (2:03.74) and 13th in the 100 breast (56.90)...also finished 25th in the 200 individual medley with a personal-best time of 1:52.92...named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. 1997 - Placed 13th in both the 100- (57.30) and 200 breast (2:04.78) and 24th in the 200 individual medley (1:53.55)... named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. 1996 - Finished seventh in both the 100- (55.91) and 200 breast (2:02.23)...also placed 25th in the prelims of the 200 IM (1:53.30).
High School:
A 1995 graduate of Northampton High School...eleven-time All-American and Academic All-American...Pennsylvania state champion in the 100 breast...featured on ESPN's High School Scholastic Sports America...ranked 10th in the nation in the 100 breast (57.29) in 1994...11-time All-State selection...set school records eight times.
