Student Tickets Distant Learners
I am a distant learner. Am I eligible for student football tickets?
All distant learners are eligible for tickets as long as they meet the following requirements: Undergraduate and graduate students must maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours and must pay the athletic fee in order to pick up their tickets.
Graduating Seniors who have less than 6 credits can provide us with a letter from their college’s academic advisor stating they have x number of credits to graduate and will then be given an exception.
I meet the eligibility requirements. What is the next step?
If it is within the student ticket lottery registration period (Mid-April to Mid-July) go to www.gatorzone.com/tickets/students and register for the lottery by clicking “Manage My Gator Student Account”. Purchase your student season ticket and you will find out if you won the lottery in late-July to early-August.
NEW THIS YEAR: GAME DAY PICK-UP
- Bring your current UF Gator1 ID to the Student Ticket Office at Gate 13 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on each football game day from 3.5 to 1.5 hours prior to kickoff. To be eligible for this option, you must get a letter from your online program stating you are a distant learner. If you are in the Innovation Academy all we need is an email to the Student Ticket Office stating that would like to pick up your tickets on Saturday and not during the week.
I live outside of Gainesville. What are my other options to pick up my season tickets?
- Bring your current UF Gator1 ID to the Student Ticket Office at Gate 13 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium each home game week between Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Give your current UF Gator1 ID to a friend who has season tickets and they can pick up your season ticket for you each home game week between Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Join a block. A block is 25 or more student season ticket holders interested in sitting together at each home game have the option to use the block seating process. Each "block" will appoint one student to represent the block (this representative MUST be a season ticket holder), who is the block chairperson. The block chair person must attend a meeting every Monday and Thursday at the Student Ticket Office. For more information on block seating please visit our Block Seating Information page.
None of these options work out for me. Is there any other option to get student tickets?
Any tickets that remain after the season ticket pick-up period ends (Tuesday through Thursday of each home game week) will go on sale Thursday evenings at 6 pm through www.gatorzone.com/students. Tickets will cost $15 (the normal student price) and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Only full-time students who do not have season tickets may purchase. These tickets will then be available to be picked up on Friday from 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
Please view our student ticket brochure for more details.
