The Gators shot just 18 percent from three-point land and 41 percent from the field. Purdue led 39-34 at the half. The Boilermakers shot 65 percent in the second half and 55 percent for the game.
Jaraan Cornell and Greg McQuay led Purdue with 19 points apiece. Mike Miller finished with a team-high 16 points for the Gators. Donnell Harvey was the only other Gator in double figures. He scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds before fouling out of the game. Florida guard Kenyan Weaks, who scored 19 points in the Utah State game, didn't score until early in the second half. He finished with six points.
Florida will play the loser of the North Carolina-Georgetown game on Wednesday night at 7:30.
