Jonathan Wilcox (Bellevue Wash.) claimed victory in the platform diving event at the Ohio State Invitational Sunday afternoon.  Wilcox notched a score of 336.90 to capture the win over the 12-competitor field at the Ron O’Brien Diving Well in the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

On the women’s side, Alicia Miller (Hobie Sound, Fla.) posted a total of 163.26 points to lead the Gator women’s divers in 10th-place, while Whitney Stern (Safety Harbor, Fla.) scored 155.61 in the platform diving competition to finish out the third and final day of the Invite in 11th-place.

The Gator men’s and women’s diving teams will return to the water January 7, 2006 with a dual meet against Penn State.  The meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Natatorium.
