Tucker would score two batters later on Harrison’s two-run homer to left-center field. Rose followed Harrison with a single and moved to third on two consecutive wild pitches. Rose then scored on Mario Garza’s sacrifice fly to right field to close out the Gator scoring in the inning.

The Gators also got four runs in the second inning, as Jake Riordan was hit by a pitch to lead off. Riordan stole second and scored one batter later on Jake Corsaletti’s RBI single. Corsaletti would follow Riordan home, as he stole second, advanced to third on an error and scored on a wild pitch. Justin Tordi later had a bunt single and scored on a Tucker single.
