In front of the largest crowd in O'Connell Center history, 12,443, the Gators defeated defending national champion and No. 5 Kentucky...Florida made its first six shots from the field in the game and closed the first half on a 9-2 run to build a nine-point advantage at intermission...For the game, UK was limited to 2-of-18 from three-point land, and the Gators held the Wildcats' second leading scorer, Scott Padgett, scoreless until the 0:32 mark in the game...UF's 16-4 record is the second best in school history after 20 games...The win was Florida's first against a top-five opponent since March 25, 1994 (No. 4 Connecticut, 69-60 OT)...Mike Miller's 20 points was a personal SEC high, and it was the fourth consecutive game he has recorded double-figures in scoring...With one three pointer, Teddy Dupay has hit at least one trey in 19-of-20 games this year...UF's win snaps a 15-game Kentucky SEC winning streak on the road...The Gators had four players reached double-figure scoring for the 17th time in 20 games.
