Villegas carded eight birdies, one shy of the tournament record, finishing the day at 7-under 65.

After leading the Gators in round one, junior Bubba Dickerson (Hilliard, Fla.) now holds the second-place spot of the UF line-up. Dickerson moved up five spots to T17, shooting 1-under 71 for the day. Senior Camilo Benedetti (Mendellin, Colombia) follows at T43, with his two- round total of 152 (+8).
