The UAA is giving 100 students the chance to be a part of the on-field tunnel for pre-game of the opener against Idaho.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- When fans enter Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on game day, everyone awaits the Gators’ epic entrance into The Swamp just before kickoff. The moment when the Gators leave the tunnel and hit the field in front of Gator Nation is special, as every fan and football player gets goose bumps.

The University Athletic Association (UAA) is giving 100 student season-ticket holders a chance to be a part of the on-field tunnel as the team charges out of the locker room during pre-game of the opener against Idaho on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.

The UAA will randomly select a total of 50 seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen and graduate students to participate. Those who are lucky enough to be selected will be permitted to bring one UF student guest onto the field with them.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

Students that are selected will be notified on Monday, Aug. 25 via email. At that time, the student selected will have to provide the student’s name and ID number of the individual that will join him or her on the field.

Student season tickets are still available and can be purchased today at Gatorzone.com/students.

*Eligibility to participate in the on-field tunnel is subject to rules and regulations that will be provided by the UAA on Monday, August 25th.
