Kelsey Stewart went 3-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Florida infielder Kelsey Stewart had four hits and a stolen base on Tuesday to guide the USA Softball Women’s National Team Selection Camp to two wins in a doubleheader against the Ohio All-Stars. Former Gator outfielder Michelle Moultrie contributed in Game 2 for the Red, White and Blue, which took Game 1 by a 3-0 decision and won the nightcap 5-0 (6 innings).

Batting out of the No. 8 spot in the opener, Stewart had a hit in each of her three at-bats. The Wichita, Kan., native hit a two-out double in the second inning and opened the scoring with a one-out RBI single in the fourth. Stewart stole second after her base hit, but she was stranded. The infielder beat out a bunt single in the sixth, then advanced on an error and a teammate’s base hit before scoring from third on a one-out single through the middle to produce the final margin in Team USA’s 3-0 win.

Moultrie and Stewart were slotted back-to-back at the top of the batting order for Game 2, and each had a single in the contest. Moultrie walked to lead off the game before Stewart moved her over on an infield single, but the 2012 Florida graduate was thrown out on a fielder’s choice and the sophomore was stranded at third. The Jacksonville, Fla., native reached on a bunt single with two outs in the second, but was unable to score as Stewart flied out to end the inning. Both players were retired in their final at-bats, but a four-run third inning set the tone for Team USA, which went on to claim a 5-0 victory.

Team USA’s exhibition tour concludes Thursday in Purcellville, Va., where the Selection Camp invitees will play a doubleheader against the Virginia All-Stars beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
