Lacrosse head coach Amanda O'Leary was named Coach of the Year by ILWomen

Florida lacrosse head coach Amanda OíLeary has been named the ILWomen Coach of the Year, as announced on Friday.

In 2014, OíLeary guided Florida to its fourth consecutive ALC regular season title, second ALC tournament title and fourth straight NCAA Quarterfinals appearance. OíLeary was also named the ALC Coach of the Year for the third time in four years.

The Gators proved they didnít need to rebuild in year five, just reload. After graduating its first four-year class, many thought Florida would take a step back in the fifth year of the program. The Gators did quite the opposite, finishing the season with an 18-3 record, including going 6-0 in conference play.
