Senior Flo Diep
On his experience in the NCAA Singles Championship
“It was a good way to finish my college career. I felt good on the court and I fought in all of my matches and most importantly, I had fun.”
On his years as a Gator
“It was exciting to play for Florida. It was great to play with a team and it was a great experience for me and I’ve improved as a person and as a player. It was great for me.”
Head Coach Bryan Shelton
On Flo’s season overall and his growth as a player
“We’re certainly proud of him, but we’ve been proud all year long. He’s the guy that does the right things the right way. I’m glad he could work so hard and finish it this way, with so much success at the end. It’s nice to see him gaining that and gaining confidence moving into his next chapter of life. We’ve certainly gained from having him. He’s been a great model for our young players and he’s set a great example for the future of this program. He’ll be missed, but we’ll be following his professional progress in his next chapter.
“It was a heck of a year for us. We’re excited about the direction of this program.”
