Gators Perfect as Super Regional Hosts
This year marks the sixth time in the last seven years that the Orange and Blue have hosted a Super Regional (also: 2008-11, 2013). Florida is 10-0 all-time in Super Regional games in Gainesville, with four wins against Cal (2008-09) and two victories each against Arizona State (2010), Oregon (2011) and UAB (2013).

A Look at Florida’s Postseason History
The Gators are 74-55 (.574) all-time in postseason games. This includes a 22-24 (.478) record in the SEC Tournament and a 52-31 (.627) mark in the NCAA Tournament.

Gator Bites—Setting Up the Super Regional
Florida is 48-11 (15-9 SEC), while Washington comes in at 36-13 (13-9 Pac-12)… The Huskies lead the all-time series, 9-3.

Empty Water Bottles Permitted for Fans
Due to expected high temperatures this weekend, fans are permitted to bring empty, reusable personal water bottles (plastic only) to fill up at water fountains.

UF Dominates In-State Opponents with Trio of Shutouts in Regional

Florida won the Gainesville Regional in commanding fashion, scoring 29 unanswered runs in shutout victories over Florida A&M (8-0, 5 innings), Stetson (14-0, 6 innings) and UCF (7-0). This marked the second time in program history (2007) that the Gators threw three consecutive shutouts in a regional. On Friday, Delanie Gourley no-hit the Rattlers, tossing the first postseason no-hitter in UF history.
