Gainesville, Fla.

Seniors Alexandra Cercone, Olivia Janowicz and Sofie Oyen will honored prior to the match.

The No. 11-ranked Gators play host to Kentucky on Sunday at Linder Stadium at Ring Tennis where first serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.


This is the regular-season finale for both teams. The Southeastern Conference Tournament gets underway Wednesday in Columbia, Mo.


Florida’s three seniors - Alexandra Cercone (Seminole, Fla.), Olivia Janowicz (Palm Bay, Fla.) and Sofie Oyen (Leopoldsburg, Belgium) - will be honored in a pre-match ceremony on Sunday.

·         Florida is 37-2 all-time against Kentucky, including an 18-0 record in Gainesville.

·         The Gator’s last loss in the series was a 4-3 decision on March 6, 2009.

·         The streak is the longest active home win streak of any NCAA Division I women’s team, in any sport.

·         The streak is the second-longest active home win streak on any NCAA Division I team, trailing only the NCAA-record-setting run by the Ohio State men’s tennis team.

·         Florida has won 82 consecutive home match against SEC foes and is 191-1 all-time at home vs. SEC opponents.


Janowicz Has Won 199 Career Matches

·         Olivia Janowicz earned wins on the singles and doubles courts on Friday against Vanderbilt and has won 199 combined singles and doubles matches in her career.

·         19 Gators have won 200 combined career matches, most recently classmate Sofie Oyen
