Coach of the Year: Rhonda Faehn, Florida

Assistant Coach of the Year: Jay Hogue & Philip Ogletree, Georgia

Sloan, the nation’s top-ranked all-arounder, is the second Gator to claim the honor since 2010. Ashanée Dickerson was the first Gator to receive the honor in 2010 and also was named the 2011 winner.

This season, Sloan has claimed nine all-around titles, including winning the Southeastern Conference crown for the second straight year. Her total of 39.825 at Missouri shares the nation’s high with teammate Alaina Johnson and is the nation’s highest all-around total in road competition since 2003. Other Sloan highlights include:

● First in nation to score 10.0 on floor exercise and balance beam. Each apparatus season-best is a 9.95 or above.

● Leads Florida with 30 event titles (nine all-around, six beam, six vault, bars, three floor)

● Ranked in the top six for each event – No. 1 all-around (39.715 RQS), No. T1 vault (9.945), No. 1 beam (9.95), No. 5 bars (9.915) and No. T6 floor (9.940).

Faehn has led the defending NCAA champion Gators to the No. 1 spot in the current rankings. Florida enters the April 18-20 NCAA Championships as the top-seed. The Gators own the nation’s top team total (198.325) and road score (198.20) of 2014. Florida’s four 2014 team totals above 198 is tops in the nation.
