GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida fans can ask football coach Will Muschamp about the 2014 team a few days before – and a few days after -- the Gators close spring practice with the Orange & Blue Debut.

Muschamp is scheduled to speak to the Gainesville Quarterback Club on April 8, only four days before the spring game. And then five days after the Orange & Blue Debut, Muschamp will continue his annual spring speaking tour on April 17 when he visits the Gator Club of Jacksonville.

The speaking tour features eight appearances by Muschamp, two by Gators basketball coach Billy Donovan, and four by Muschamp’s assistant coaches.

In an attempt to give Gator fans the opportunity to hear Muschamp, Donovan and the assistant coaches speak and take questions, the tour is a product of a collaborative effort by the UF Alumni Association, Gator Boosters, and the University Athletic Association.

Muschamp will open his fourth season at Florida when the Gators host Idaho in the 2014 season opener on Aug. 30. Meanwhile, Donovan’s Gators are currently ranked No. 1 in the country and have a school-record 21-game win streak.

Other scheduled speaking engagements for Muschamp include May 1 in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County Gator Club), May 5 in Tampa (co-hosted by Tampa Gator Club/Pinellas County Gator Club), May 7 in Lakeland (Polk County Gator Club), May 13 in Orlando (Central Florida Gator Club), May 20 in Gainesville (Titletown Gator Club) and May 22 in Gainesville (Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club).

Donovan has stops scheduled in Fort Myers (Southwest Florida Gator Club) and Atlanta (Atlanta Gator Club), dates to be determined.

In addition to Muschamp and Donovan hitting the road to speak to Gator fans, assistants Kurt Roper (offensive coordinator), Mike Summers (offensive line) and Coleman Hutzler (special-teams coordinator) will make stops on the tour.

Roper is scheduled to speak in Ocala (Marion County Gator Club, April 14), Summers in Tallahassee (Capital Area Gator Club, May 5) and Pensacola (Northwest Florida Gator Club, May 8), and Hutzler in Daytona Beach (Volusia County Gator Club, May 6).
