Gainesville, Fla.

Rhonda Faehn spoke at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference.

Florida gymnastics head coach Rhonda Faehn met with the media during Florida’s All-Sports press conference on Monday morning to discuss this past Friday’s Link to Pink meet victory over then-No.3 LSU, as well as the upcoming trip to No. 4 Alabama.

Faehn began by thanking the incredible crowd for making the Link to Pink meet such an inspirational and significant night. She went on to say that she was happy with how the team rose to the occasion against the challenge of a talented LSU team.

Faehn also mentioned that it was a night of highlights, such as Kytra Hunter’s 10.0 on vault for the second consecutive week, Bridget Sloan winning her sixth-straight all-around title, Alaina Johnson posting her best all-around performance since 2012 and Rachel Spicer getting the beam rotation off to a great start with one of her best routines of the season.

With only three meets left in the regular season, the No.3 Gators head to Tuscaloosa this Friday to take on No. 4 Alabama. Faehn is hoping the team will compete aggressively in what she expects to be a very challenging environment. Meet is slated to begin at 8:30 p.m.ET.

Live stats for Friday’s meet are available on the GatorZone.comGameDay link or follow the scores via Twitter @GatorZoneGym.

Fans can watch the Florida at Alabama meet on tape-delayed replay on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:00p.m and Thursday, March 6 at 2:30 p.m. on ESPNU (Cox Gainesville/Ocala channel 251 or 1251).
