This was the first meeting between the teams, giving Florida a 1-0 advantage.

MANDEE’S MINUTE

“I thought it was another great team win for us. We got a lot of different looks from a lot of different players, offensively, which was really good to see. I thought defensively, Mary-Sean (Wilcox) and Cara (Canington) came up with some big saves and our defenders did a really good job of keeping Cincinnati from scoring. It was just a team effort in every way and I was glad to see everyone stepping up to contribute out there today. ”

Florida returns to action on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m., when the Gators take on No. 12 Stony Brook in Stony Brook, N.Y.
