Overland Park, Kan.

Hannah Rogers is one of 30 softball candidates for the Senior CLASS Award.

Gator Softball senior pitcher Hannah Rogers (Lake Wales, Fla.) is one of 30 softball candidates for the 2014 Senior CLASS Award, unveiled Thursday (Feb. 20) by Premier Sports Management.

The accolade honors senior NCAA student-athletes who serve their communities and utilize their visibility to make a positive impact. A media panel will vote to narrow the pool of 30 softball candidates down to 10 finalists in April. At that point, fan voting will begin at seniorCLASSaward.com. The Senior CLASS Award winner will be announced during the 2014 NCAA Women’s College World Series, which runs May 29-June 4 in Oklahoma City.

Rogers is a three-time All-American and a three-time selection to the NFCA All-Southeast Region First Team. The senior was named to the 2013 SEC Academic Honor Roll. Rogers owns a 4-0 record this season for the top-ranked Gators, and she earned her 100th career win last Friday (Feb. 14) against Hawaii.
