Florida sophomore Arman Hall is the SEC Men's Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Florida sophomore sprinter Arman Hall picked up his second SEC Men’s Runner of the Week accolade Tuesday in the final installment of the league weekly awards before the 2014 SEC Indoor Championships next week in College Station.

Hall and the Gators wrapped up regular-season indoor competition last weekend when the No. 2 Florida men’s squad split three ways with contingents in Seattle, Ames and College Station. Hall powered his way to a 20.68 in the 200m at the Texas A&M Invitational, a new career-best mark and meet record, which ties for the lead in the SEC, ranks tied for second in the NCAA and is seventh in the world so far this season.

In addition to a top-three national ranking in the 200m (20.68), the Pembroke Pines, Fla., native and 2013 All-American ranks third in the NCAA in the 400m (45.63) and is one of four on the world-leading 4x400m relay alongside Florida teammates sophomore Najee Glass, junior Hugh Graham, Jr., and freshman Nick Uruburu (3:04.46).

The Gators will return to College Station, Texas, Feb. 27-March 1 for the 2014 SEC Indoor Championships at Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium on the Texas A&M Campus.

Florida owns six SEC Indoor Titles on the men’s side (’75, ’76, ’87, ’88, ’04, ’11) and seven on the women’s side (’90, ’92, ’97, ’02, ’04, ’10, ’12).
