Gainesville, Fla.

Rhonda Faehn spoke at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference.

Meeting with the media during Florida’s All-Sports press conference on Monday morning, Florida gymnastics head coach Rhonda Faehn discussed the Gators’ victory over Arkansas last weekend as well as this Friday’s upcoming Link to Pink meet against No. 3 LSU.

Faehn was happy with the results against the Razorbacks, as it was a meet that saw the Gators achieve many of the goals the team had set for themselves heading into competition, which included hitting more landings.

She continued to say that it was an overall solid meet, despite some uncharacteristic struggles on beam. The vault rotation was highlighted by Kytra Hunter’s perfect 10.0 mark. Sophomore Bridget Sloan won her fifth consecutive all-around title at 39.75 - the nation’s leading total of 2014.

Up next, with only two home meets left on the 2014 home schedule, the No. 2 Gators will host No. 3 LSU Tigers this Friday for the eighth annual Link To Pink meet, which will see both teams set aside their school colors and sport pink uniforms in support of the survivors and the battle against breast cancer.

Meet is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. Live stats for Friday’s meet are available on the GameDay link or follow the scores via Twitter @GatorZoneGym.

Fans unable to make it can watch the Florida vs. LSU meet on tape-delayed replay on Thursday, Feb 27 at 6:30 pm on ESPNU (Cox Gainesville/Ocala channel 251 or 1251) and again on Sunday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2 (Cox Gainesville/Ocala channel 27 or 1027).
