Gainesville, Fla.

Rhonda Faehn spoke at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference.

Florida Gymnastics Head Coach Rhonda Faehn met with the media during the All-Sports Press Conference on Monday to recap the Gators’ win over Kentucky on Friday and their upcoming back-to-back home meets, starting with No. 11 Arkansas this Friday.

Faehn was pleased with the improvements she saw this weekend, particularly with achieving more stuck landings on dismounts, an area the team had been focusing on.

She also highlighted the Gators’ performance on both the uneven bars, which she thought was one of the team’s best of the season and on the balance beam. Sophomore Bridget Sloan’s 10.0 on beam highlighted the Gators’ performance on the event. It has been 10 years since Kristen Stucky set Florida’s beam record with her 10.0 in 2004, also in a dual meet at Kentucky.

Next up: No.1 Florida is home this weekend as it takes on the Razorbacks in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on Valentine’s Day. Faehn said the team is thrilled to be at back home and excited to perform in front of the Gator fans again.

The meet is set to start at 7 p.m. Live stats for Friday’s meet are available on the GatorZone.com GameDay link or follow the scores via Twitter @GatorZoneGym.

Fans unable to make it to Friday’s meet can watch Florida vs. Arkansas on tape-delayed by tuning into SUN Sports (Cox Gaineville/Ocala channel 48 or 1048) on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m., Feb. 23 at 8:30 a.m., Feb. 24 at 11:00 a.m. and again on Feb. 27 at 9:30 a.m.
