The top-two hitters will then have a playoff to become the champion of their group. For the championship round, each hitter will start with zero points. The overall winner will receive a prize pack and the runner-up will also receive a prize.

Following the Home Run Derby, there will be a BBQ held on Dizney Plaza for all alumni in attendance.

TBD – 2014 Gators’ scrimmage

This year’s team will have an intra-squad scrimmage as they prepare for the season opener on Valentine’s Day against Maryland.

Parking – People are encouraged to park by the north end of the Percy Beard Track and/or the track lot located adjacent to McKethan Stadium. From that lot, people can walk across the track to enter McKethan Stadium.

Last season, Florida advanced to NCAA Regionals for the sixth year in a row, matching the longest run in school history, and has reached the College World Series in three of the past four campaigns. UF has over half of its games versus opponents who advanced to the 2013 NCAA Tournament, including home series against Arkansas, Connecticut, LSU and Vanderbilt, and will have four series totaling 12 games against teams that reached Super Regionals, one of which advanced to Omaha. The Gators return 18 letterwinners and are bolstered by the nation’s top recruiting class from Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game.

Both single-game and season tickets for the 2014 Gator Baseball season can be purchased online at or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Florida will raise the curtain on the 100th campaign in school history with a three-game home set against Maryland starting on Feb. 14.
