UF head coach Amanda Butler talked with the media as part of UF’s All Sports Press Conference on Monday.

 

Among the several questions she fielded and topics covered:

·         Florida has a split location week of action, first playing host to Alabama on Thursday before traveling to Oxford to play Ole Miss on Sunday.

·         The Gators halted their season-long three-game slide with a solid win against Auburn on Sunday when six players scored in double-figures in a balanced offensive effort.

·         During the win, senior Jaterra Bonds became the 13th Gator to top the 1,400-point plateau and moved past Gator All-American and two-time Olympic gold medalist DeLisha Milton into second place in UF history for made free throws in a career, as Bonds’ fifth make from the line was the 368th of her career. Bonds leads all SEC players this year in made free throws (122, 6.1 pg) and free throw attempts (148, 7.4 pg).

Florida (14-6, 4-3 SEC) returns to action on Thu., January 30, when the Gators play host to Alabama (10-10, 3-4 SEC) in the O’Connell Center beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

·         Rowdy Reptile Check-In: Students can earn 4 points for scanning in at Gate 1.

·         Campus Challenge: Final 4: Today’s Final Four matchup is between the winner of Muphree vs. Tolbert and Keys (1/9/14) and the winner of Broward vs. Rawlings and Reid-Yulee-Mallory (1/19/14). Students will be entered to win iPads and the residence hall(s) with the highest attendance will advance to the Championship.

·         Dance Marathon Check-In: All 16 dance marathon organizations are invited to attend the game and receive 20 spirit points per person toward their organization. The organization with the highest attendance receives $250. The organization with the highest percentage will also receive $250. Check-in at Gate 2.
