BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- After a stellar opening weekend of indoor competition at the UAB Blazer Invitational, three University of Florida track & field student-athletes earned SEC Athlete of the Week honors, half of the league’s weekly awards, in the first track & field edition of 2014.

Sophomore sprinter Arman Hall is the SEC Men’s Runner of the Week, sophomore Robin Reynolds is the SEC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week and freshman Taylor Tubbs picked up SEC Women’s Freshman of the Week accolades.

The Orange and Blue, ranked No. 2 in the USTFCCCA Men’s Preseason Poll and No. 3 in the women’s poll, hold six of the top marks in the country thanks to last weekend’s performances, including Hall’s 200m mark (20.80) and Reynolds’ long jump performance (6.38m/20-11.25). Likewise, the Gators sit atop the SEC standings in 11 indoor events after the past weekend of competition.
