Thursday November 21, 2013Men's Basketball Signs Three to NLIs for 2014-15

Gainesville, Fla.

Florida men’s basketball announces the signing of three incoming freshmen to National Letters of Intent for the 2014-15 class, including Chris Chiozza, Brandone Francis and Devin Robinson.

 

“We are really excited about these guys and their future at the University of Florida,” head coach Billy Donovan said. “They all have tremendous potential, and we’re glad they’re Gators.”

 

Chris Chiozza | Guard | 5-11 | 160 | Memphis, Tenn. | White Station

Chiozza is an attacking point guard with the ability to distribute or score himself…Rated a four-star prospect and top-50 player in the 2014 class by ESPN and Rivals…Quick and athletic, Chiozza has superior court vision…Helped White Station to a 22-6 record and district championship during his junior season.

 

Brandone Francis | Guard | 6-5 | 205 | Jacksonville, Fla. | Arlington Country Day

Francis is an athletic guard with great size who can handle and pass effectively…A tough competitor who can use his size to rebound and post up smaller opponents…Rated a four-start prospect and top-30 player in the 2014 class by ESPN and Rivals…Helped Arlington Country Day to a 30-4 record as a junior.

 

Devin Robinson | Forward | 6-8 | 180 | Chesterfield, Va. | Christchurch School

Robinson is a long wing player who has great open-floor ability and shooting range…Great size and a matchup problem for opponents…Rated a five-star prospect by Rivals (20th overall) and a four-star prospect by ESPN (28th overall)…Helped Christchurch to a 24-7 record during his junior season.
