Fellow defensive midfielder Liz Slattery also scored late in the opening half for her second goal as a Gator.

In Sunday’s action, Florida took a 3-0 win versus LSU. Savannah Jordan struck twice in the opening half, putting in the ball from fellow freshman Pamela Begič and scoring an unassisted goal. The goals up her season total to 15, which shares the SEC lead. Gator assist co-leader Annie Speese put in a free kick in the second half for her first goal of 2013.

UT was 14-5-3 in 2012 and finished third in the SEC with a 9-3-1 record. In 2012 NCAA action, UT lost 3-2 OT to Miami (Ohio) in first-round action.
