Sunday October 13, 2013Florida Football Drops in Latest Polls After Loss in Death Valley

Gainesville, Fla.

After falling to SEC-foe LSU yesterday, Florida football dropped five spots to No. 22 in both the Associated Press Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll, released today. The only two losses for Florida this season are to two top-10 teams: No. 6 LSU and No. 10 Miami.

The Gators head to Columbia, Mo., on Saturday to take on No. 14/14 Missouri. The game will kickoff at 12:21 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on SEC TV.

There are eight teams from the SEC currently ranked in the AP poll, the most-ever from one conference. Among the six teams remaining on Florida’s schedule, there are four top-15 teams present in rankings: No. 14/14 Missouri (Oct. 19 in Columbia, Mo.), No. 15/16 Georgia (Oct. 27 in Jacksonville, Fla.), No. 11/9 South Carolina (Nov. 16 in Columbia, S.C.) and No. 5/5 Florida State (Nov. 30 in Gainesville).
