Monday August 19, 2013Updated Information on Tuesday’s Gator Football Open Practice for UF Students
The University of Florida football team will host a student event centered around practice on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 12 p.m., at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The practice, previously scheduled to be open to the public, will now be open only to UF students.
Students wishing to attend should enter through Gate 15. The first 500 students through the gate will receive a wristband for free pizza and water that can be redeemed following the conclusion of practice. Additionally, attending the event will earn students two Rowdy Reptile points. Students can receive these points by bringing their Gator1 I.D. and checking in at the marketing tables set up at Gate 15.
Students will also have the opportunity to win prizes. The @GZstudents Twitter account has posted a Florida football trivia question. Entry forms will be provided at Gate 15 and students can write their answer to the trivia question for a chance to win prizes that include tickets to the Florida/Georgia game, Florida football gear, Gator Prize Packs and front row seats to the Toledo game.
