The Gators (55-7) and Blazers (40-17) will take to the field at 1 p.m. Saturday on ESPNU for the first game of the set, with game two slated for noon Sunday on ESPN. Should a third and decisive game be necessary, the teams will meet Sunday at 3 p.m. on ESPN to decide the Gainesville Super Regional Champion. All three games will additionally stream live on WatchESPN.com.

Gator fans unable to attend this weekend’s Super Regional at UF’s Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium can additionally tune in live locally or online to Adam Schick and Megan Bush with the call on 105 The Game (104.9 WYGC-FM).

For the fifth time, UF will play the Super Regional round on its home turf, having only gone on the road once in 2007. The Gators and Blazers will be meeting for the first time in program history, as UAB continues a stellar season, including its first-ever Regional and Super Regional appearances in school history.

The Blazers went 3-1 in the Louisville Regional, defeating UCLA twice and No. 15 seed and host, Louisville, once. UCLA took a 4-1 win in Sunday’s first game to force the ‘if necessary’ game and UAB came out on top of a 13-inning thriller, 3-2, with a walk-off RBI triple to advance to the Gainesville Super Regional.

The Gators, who swept through the Gainesville Regional with an opening-round win over Hampton (7-1) and two wins over USF (11-1 five inn, 2-0), will be looking for their fifth trip to the WCWS in the last six years. The Orange and Blue advanced to an SEC-best four straight WCWS from 2008-11. Florida, the 2013 regular-season and Southeastern Conference Tournament Champion, was one of a NCAA-record 11 SEC teams to make the 64-team NCAA Tournament field, and is one of six SEC teams still in the big dance for Super Regionals.
