A strong leader and consistent performer in the water, Martin has also added numerous accolades for his efforts out of the pool. This award comes as the second scholarship Martin has received this post-season. He has already been awarded $5,000 for being a finalist for the SEC Brad Davis Community Service Award.
“There could not be a more deserving person of this award,” said Head Coach Gregg Troy. “Not only is Cameron a fantastic student, an All-American swimmer and our team leader - he is an all around class guy. What a great honor for Cameron and the program.”

He has put in countless hours volunteering while also serving as the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the project manager for “The Gator Grind,” a student-athlete run blog website.
