Wednesday March 27, 2013Numerous Promotions Highlight Gator Baseball's Weekend Series Against No. 11 Ole Miss
After a four-game road trip, the Gator baseball team will welcome No. 11 Ole Miss to McKethan Stadium for three games starting on Friday night. Game times this weekend are at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Game two with Rod Delmonico and Bernie Guenther will be carried on Cox Sports, Channel 199 in Gainesville, and the finale will be on Sun Sports with Nick Belmonte and Larry Vettel on Channel 48 or Channel 1048 HD in Gainesville.
The series opener and finale between the Gators and Rebels will be available on GatorVision, while Jeff Cardozo and Steve Russell will call the action for the Gator IMG Sports Network. Live audio and stats will be available on GatorZone.com and fans can also follow updates on @GatorZoneBB, the official Twitter account of the Gator baseball program.
Friday, March 29 – Series Opener – 7 p.m.
Pepsi Family Night: Fans can purchase 4 general admission tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas for only $20!
Rowdy Reptile Rewards Game: UF students can check-in on the Dizney Plaza with their Gator1 I.D. from the 3rd through 5th innings to earn 3 POINTS!
Dance Marathon Check-In: UF organizations can check-in to earn spirit points and funds towards their Dance Marathon total. The organization that brings the most people receives $250. The organization that brings the highest percentage of people receives $250.
Saturday, March 30 – 1 p.m.
Mini Wooden Bat Giveaway: The 1st 1,000 fans receive mini wooden Gator baseball bats!
Live Life In The Mac Ticket Promotion: Fans can stop by the Willy’s® location in Gainesville to pick-up 2-for-1 Reserved Bleacher seat passes (2 reserved tickets for $6).
City of Ocala Day: Residents of Ocala with valid I.D. (i.e. driver’s license) can purchase 2-for-1 Reserved Bleacher seats (2 reserved tickets for $6).
Food Drive: Fans that donate (4) canned good/non-perishable items can purchase 2-for-1 general admission tickets. Help support your local community.
Sunday, March 31 – 1 p.m.
Egg Hunt: Kids, 12 and under, can participate in an Egg Hunt on the Sanders Practice Field at 12:15 p.m. The Egg Hunt will be divided up for various age groups to participate. Fans must have a game ticket to participate.
Family Sundays: General admission tickets, small popcorn and 12 oz. sodas are only $1 each.
Community National Anthem: Kids, 12 and under, can run onto the field and stand with the Gator players during the National Anthem.
10th Inning: Following the game, the Gator players will be available to sign autographs.
Only official 2013 Gator baseball posters and baseballs may be signed. One autographed item per person.
