The Gators will try to win their fourth SEC Tournament Championship today against Ole Miss in Nashville.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Gators have a chance today to accomplish a feat they have done just once in program history: win two SEC titles in one season.

Florida (26-6) faces Ole Miss (25-8) here at Bridgestone Arena this afternoon in the SEC Tournament Championship Game. The regular-season SEC champions can add an SEC Tournament title trophy with a victory.

The only time Florida has won both titles was during the 2006-07 season, which ended with the Gators hoisting their second consecutive national championship trophy.

The Gators advanced to the championship game Saturday with a 61-51 victory over Alabama. Florida trailed by 10 points early in the second half but rallied behind senior guard Kenny Boynton, who scored all of his game-high 16 points in the second half.

Meanwhile, Ole Miss advanced with a 64-52 victory over Vanderbilt, led by Marshall Henderson's 23 points.

The Gators defeated Ole Miss 78-64 at the O'Connell Center on Feb. 2 in the teams' only regular-season meeting.

Florida, making its SEC-best sixth tournament championship game appearance in the last 10 years, is 3-5 all-time in title game. Ole Miss is 1-3, its only SEC Tournament title coming in 1981.
