Florida track & field athletes Dedric Dukes (Miami, Fla.) and Arman Hall (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) have been honored by the Southeastern Conference as the Menís Runner of the Week and Menís Co-Freshman of the Week, respectively, the league offices in Birmingham, Ala. announced Tuesday.

Dukes set a Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational meet record en route to a victory in the menís 200 meters in a personal-best time of 20.95, a feat made even more impressive by the fact there was only one other athlete in his finals heat. For his efforts, Duke was named the Husker Invitational Menís Most Valuable Performer. He has the fourth-fastest 200 meters time in the SEC this season and the ninth-best nationally. His performance is the fastest for Florida since Tony McQuay ran a time of 20.61 at the 2011 SEC Indoor Championships and is the third-fastest 200-meter performance by a Gator in the last seven years.

Hall recorded a personal best in the menís 400 meters for the third time this season, clocking a time of 46.61 at the Husker Invitational. Hall captured the event to earn the third victory of his freshman campaign. He currently ranks as the nationís top freshman in the event and ranks sixth nationally overall.

The Gators have had four SEC honors this indoor season, as Dukes and Hall were recognized by the conference for their performances as members of the world-leading menís 4x400-meter relay at the Razorback Invitational (3:05.93). Junior Cory McGee (Pass Christian, Miss.) was named the SEC Co-Womenís Runner of the Week for her performance at the Crimson Tide Indoor Opener earlier in the season.

Next up for the Orange and Blue is a split weekend of competition, as the Gators head to Seattle for the Flotrack Husky Classic and Blacksburg, Va. for the Virginia Tech Elite Meet. Next weekend is the final weekend of action before the SEC Indoor Championships, hosted by the University of Arkansas, February 22-24.
