The Southeastern Conference announced today additional ticket initiatives for the 2013 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament scheduled for March 6-10 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Fans can purchase tickets to give on Valentine Days ($12 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under). The Valentine Day ticket promotion will be the last opportunity fans will have to purchase single-session, general admission tickets to the tournament prior to the start of the tournament. They can be purchased at the arena box office or through the Ticketmaster website from February 1 – 17.
In addition, special game day promotions have been announced. Individuals dressed in the appropriate uniform can purchase tickets at the following prices: Wednesday, March 6: Boy Scout / Girl Scout ($4 child’s GA; $8 group leaders); Thursday, March 7: Youth Sports ($4 child’s GA; $8 group leaders); Friday, March 8: Military ($6 Adult GA). These tickets are available day of game at the arena box office.
Reserved ticket books went on sale on October 1. A ticket book contains seven tickets, one for each session, which allows one person to attend all 13 games and can be purchased for $90. Reserved books can be purchased at www.SECDigitalNetwork.com or by calling (800) 732-4849.
This is the third time The Arena at Gwinnett Center has hosted the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament, with previous trips in 2007 and 2010. The Arena will also host the event in 2014. The Arena at Gwinnett Center seats 10,309 for the SEC Tournament. It is located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, Georgia, 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta.
