The 2012-13 NBA regular season is nearly halfway complete and10 former University of Florida men’s basketball players have remained in action in the league this year.

 

Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards

Beal has been a key part to Washington’s current three-game winning streak. In the past two games, he has had at least 16 points. This season, the rookie is averaging 13.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 2.6 apg for the Wizards.

 

Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs

Bonner has played in 33 games for San Antonio this year, averaging 3.8 ppg and 2.0 rpg. Last week, he played in one game for the Spurs.

 

Corey Brewer, Denver Nuggets

Brewer has played in every game for Denver this season, averaging 11.1 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He scored in double figures on two occasions last week.

 

Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat

Haslem has only missed two games this year for Miami and has started 18. He is averaging 3.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg. The Heat’s all-time leading rebounder is currently 69 rebounds shy of his 5,000th career rebound. This past week, Haslem pulled down eight boards in two games.

 

Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks

Horford is averaging 15.4 ppg, 9.5 rpg, and 3.3 apg for Atlanta this season. He is currently 14th in the league in rebounding. In the past two games, Horford has at least 11 rebounds in each game. He recorded a double-double (16 points and 12 rebounds) against Washington on Saturday, January 12.

 

David Lee, Golden State Warriors

Lee is currently tied for sixth in rebounding and is the 10th-leading scorer in the league, averaging 19.9 ppg and 10.9 rpg. In addition, he leads the league with 16 games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. Last week, Lee had a double-double in all three games for the Warriors.

 

Mike Miller, Miami Heat

In 34 games, Miller is averaging 4.1 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 1.4 apg. Last week, Miller pulled down a season-high eight rebounds and matched his season-best with four assists against Portland on Thursday, January 10. He also scored 12 points (one point shy of his season-high) against Sacramento on Saturday, January 12.

 

Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls

Along with Lee, Noah is one of 10 players in the league to be averaging a double-double (12.3 ppg and 10.6 rpg). In addition, Noah leads Chicago in rebounds, steals, and blocks on the year. This past week, Noah recorded at least 12 rebounds in three games.

 

Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets

Parsons is averaging 14.4 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 3.6 apg for Houston in 38 games this season. In each of the past three games, Parsons has had at least 17 points. Against Philadelphia on Saturday, January 12, he was one rebound shy of his seventh double-double of the year.

 

Marresse Speights, Memphis Grizzlies

Speights has played in every game this season for Memphis, averaging 6.6 and 4.8 rpg. In four games last week, he tallied 15 points and 13 rebounds.
