Several events later, both Lochte and Dwyer were back in the pool for the 200 freestyle. Lochte made his second A-Final and finished third with a time of 1:33.26. Dwyer won the C-Final, clocking in with a time of 1:35.75.
In his final event. Lochte competed in the 100 backstroke. He finished sixth in the A-final with a time of 46.01. He qualified in both the 50 free and the 200 back but did not compete in the finals of either event.
