Erika Tymrak appears on her second consecutive Top Drawer Soccer.com National Team of theh Week.

After a goal and an assist in Friday’s 2-0 NCAA opening round win, Florida’s All-American senior Erika Tymrak (Bradenton, Fla.) is part of her second consecutive Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week, the outlet announced Monday. The Gators moved to NCAA Second Round play after defeating Florida Gulf Coast 2-0 Friday at the James G. Pressly Stadium.

Tymrak has scored a goal in each of the last four matches and six in the last eight contests. She leads the 2012 Gators in goals (9), assists (11) and points (29). Her career totals also place her among the top-10 Gators all-time in assists (39 assists/fourth), points (103/sixth) and goals (32 /eighth).

A give-and-go play led to Tymrak’s goal Friday. She passed the ball off to junior Adriana Leon at the top of the 18-yard box. Just before defenders closed in on her, Leon back-heeled the ball to an open Tymrak who then slammed the ball in the top right corner of the net in the 21st minute.

She also added her fourth assist of the last three matches when the end line ball Tymrak sent across the mouth of the goal found sophomore Annie Speese on the far post during the second half.

Tymrak is this season’s Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Year and also picked up the SEC Tournament MVP award for the second time.

No. 2 regional seed Florida (18-4-1, 11-2 SEC) plays host to UCF (17-4-2, 8-3 C-USA) Friday for NCAA Second Round play. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Pressly Stadium. Prior to UF-UCF match, No. 3 regional seed Wake Forest faces Notre Dame. The winners of Friday’s matches meet Sunday in NCAA Third Round action.
