After scoring a touchdown in the final seconds of the game, Florida defeated Louisiana 27-20. The Gators remained at No. 7 in the Associated Press and No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Last week Florida was ranked No.7 in the Associated Press Poll and the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. In the second to last game of the season, UF (9-1, 7-1 SEC) will host Jacksonville State (6-4, 5-3 OVC) Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. in The Swamp and the game will be aired on PPV. It will be the Gators’ last home game of the season.
There are six teams from the SEC currently ranked in the polls. Among the two teams remaining on Florida’s schedule, the Gators will face one team present in rankings: No. 10 Florida State (Nov. 24 in Tallahassee).
