Head coach Amanda Butler talked with the media as part of UF’s All Sports Press Conference on Monday.

The Gators continue their preseason workouts in preparation for the 2012-13 season which gets underway on Fri., Nov. 9 against Fairfield in the O’Connell Center at 4 p.m.

On Monday, Coach Butler touched on a variety of topics, including the progress of redshirt-freshmen Viktorija Dimaite and Carlie Needles, as well as running practice with eight newcomers, on the team’s strong chemistry and on 6-foot-7 junior transfer Vicky McIntyre and how she’ll work with senior All-American Jennifer George and the other players in the frontcourt.
