On Sunday night, the official Facebook page of the University of Florida Gators reached one-million fans. UF is the second school in the country to reach the one-million mark, joining Ohio State.

Florida has an array of social media options to get fans closer to the game. Currently, the official Twitter page of the Gators, @GatorZoneNews, has the second-most followers in collegiate athletics. In addition, 170,000 people began to follow the Florida Gators on Google+ within three months of the launch of the Gators’ page.
