With the Gator men’s basketball team fresh off its second straight NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance – the program’s fourth in seven years -- fans can lock in their 2012-13 season tickets now with just a $25 deposit. Fans who place their deposits by Tuesday, May 1, will receive an exclusive invitation for a behind-the-scenes-tour of the Florida Basketball Practice Complex, as well as the opportunity to hear remarks from Head Coach Billy Donovan, on a date to be announced before next season.
The 2012-2013 home schedule features several premier match-ups including Kentucky (plus 8 other SEC games), Big Ten power Wisconsin, an opponent to be determined in the SEC/Big East Challenge, Richmond and UCF. Season ticket are a $355 value for just $315 (plus a per seat contribution if applicable).
Under Donovan, the Gators have enjoyed unprecedented success. After reaching just five NCAA Tournaments in 77 years prior to his arrival, the University of Florida has reached the Dance in 12 of Donovan’s 16 years at the helm. Since 2006, the Gators boast an 18-3 record in the NCAA Tournament, and at 28-10 overall, Donovan’s .737 NCAA Tournament winning percentage is the third-highest among active coaches, trailing only Mike Krzyzewski and Roy Williams.
